“Hatred is not essential for nationalism. Race hatred will kill the national spirit.” Hatred is not a quality, it is a disease which renders a social setup incapable of differentiating between a good and a bad element within. You can not hate a complete nation if you have been attacked by a few members of this society. They are similar to those anti-social elements which we often find in our own society carrying out acts of crime against some individuals. We always find just a few of these in our own and we carry on but when we see a bunch of these kinds of another country killing more than a few of own for some religious reasons, we start a wave of hatred which kills the humanity in ourselves.
